Egg Color Disclaimer
Marans are like a photocopier that eventually runs low on toner as their egg production increases during the laying season creating a lighter shade of brown, as well when resuming into laying. They will still contain the dark-brown laying gene. The color of the egg a hen lays does not fully determine the egg color the offspring will lay. Egg color varies for every hen, even full-blooded sisters can provide different shades of dark brown.

Refunds will not be issued if order get lost in the mailing system, if eggs are received damaged, or some eggs do not show any signs of development. If order is damaged Priority MailĀ® services include up to $100 of insurance in the price. If your order is damaged by the mishandling of the USPS you should open up a claim with USPS as soon as possible.
